Your Role

The Director of Marketing is responsible for all marketing activities across CR's eight market sectors and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business. As the Director of Marketing, you will collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer to define/refine an annual marketing strategy and execution.

 

What You Will Do

  • Development and implementation of CR's marketing strategy, as well as associated marketing communications and public relations activities - both external and internal
  • Achievement of marketing/communications/public relations mission, goals and financial objectives
  • Direct the efforts of the marketing team to ensure objectives are met
  • Coordinate at strategic and tactical levels with the other functions of the CR Organization
  • Work closely with the "Client Development" and "client/project" teams to support their annual sales objectives by providing appropriate tools, materials and industry data
  • Develop and execute a "Marketing Communications" calendar for the organization
  • Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all collateral
  • Coordinate the appearance of all print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
  • Undertake continuous market sector analysis and track competitive environment and A/E trends
  • Successfully work within the constraints of fee, schedule and budget to consistently produce superior results
  • Develop short and long-term goals, objectives and budgets for the marketing/communications/public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
  • Measure self-performance and report weekly progress to Chief Marketing Officer to define planned versus actual "marketing" results

 

 Your Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing, communications and public relations with demonstrated success in the A/E/C sector and CR's 8 market sectors
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing communications and public relations activities
  • Experience in market research and trend analysis
  • Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases and overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
  • Strong organizational, leadership and project management skills / experience
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently
  • Strong strategic, leadership, organizational, creative, analytical, and communication skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM systems
  • Availability and expectation for travel, up to 25% overnight
